Today I would like to tell you about the great experience I had with the selling of my home and buying a new one. I first contacted Carol Wargo back in October of 2009. We discussed the work needed to get my existing townhouse ready to be placed on the market for sale. She was vey straight forward and honest with what was needed to happen to get the house ready for market.
Our next step was for Carol to do the comparisons with the current market conditions to set a price. We all have this number in our mind, maybe because we have feeling with the property or we know how much we put into the house just to maintain it and we sometimes think we can recoup that time and money. Well, Carol again will try to help you come to the number that is going to sell your house. There might be some adjustments along the way but trust Carol she will not steer you wrong.
With all that help we were able to get some contracts and Carol was very helpful in walking us trough the process and was able to crunch numbers in order to know where you stand with the selling of our home. At that time we were very happy with the offer given and signed the contract.
Now comes the fun and, most likely, stressful part of the process. Inspections and the finance process for the buyer. To help with any stressful situation Carol is just a phone call away. She was there to answer all our questions and put our minds at ease.
With a major financial process as purchasing or sell a home it is truly a requirement to have a professional Realtor.
Our situation was unique and we had a buyer miss their deadlines and put us in a very compromising position; where we had packed, storage fees, and deposit down for an rental because our new house would not be ready for a couple of months. Carol had beyond our knowledge had a PLAN B, another buyer. And the process went on without any problems. Again, Carol was able to walk us through it and things worked out great!
While looking for our new home Carol worked very hard to gather all the homes in the areas we were interested and fit our pre qualified mortgage amount. There must have been at least a few dozen homes that she walked us through. When we finally decided to buy we went with a subdivision that was still building and had their own Realtor and Carol worked hand and hand with them in order for us to make sure we where protected. When a trust was created we felt that Carol had our best interest in mind.
We went to settlement in June of 2010 in our new home, I can honestly say that Carol was a great ally in our journey to getting our new home. With Carol’s assistance, knowledge, and professionalism it would be hard to find another real estate agent that will work as hard as she does for you to reach your real estate goals.
